Rich Hand oil treatment
This Rich Hand oil treatment is wonderful for treating dry, chapped or rough hands. Massaging this treatment daily into your hands will help keep them soft. Your nails will also benefit greatly by massaging well into your cuticles helping to promote healthy nail growth.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoons almond oil
- 2 tablespoons jojoba
- 1 tablespoon rosewater
- 8 drops Lemon oil
Method
- Add the honey, almond oil and jojoba to a glass pyrex jug. Sit this jug in a fry pan of simmering water and melt ingredients together.
- Meanwhile add the rosewater to another pyrex jug and sit this in the fry pan of simmering water also.
- Once the honey and oils have melted together and the rosewater has warmed, slowly start to add the rosewater to the honey and oils, drop by drop (preferably using a dropper/pipette).
- After you have added about half of the rosewater into the honey and oil mixture, remove from the heat.
- Continue to add the rosewater slowly, mixing continuously with a small whisk.
- Once you have added all of the rosewater, add the lemon essential oil and mix in with the whisk.
- Pour into a sterilized glass jar.
- Cover tightly and label the product, including the date.
