Botanical name: Petroselinum sativum
Botanical family: Umbelliferae

Origin: Mediterranean region.

Description: Herby, slightly spicy, pungent but sweet

History: Named after the Greek word 'petros' meaning rock or stone which is where parsley prefers to be grown. A much loved and used garden herb, the essential benefits of Parsley are not often known.
