Origin: Clove originates from the Molucca Islands and Indonesia. It is also cultivated in Zanzibar, Madagascar, Java, and Sri Lanka.

Description: Spicy and strong

History: Clove has a long history as an antiseptic. The Chinese chewed on Cloves to ease toothache.

Properties and Indications:

Helps ease toothache and mouth sores
Digestive system - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia, bad breath and parasites
Good for intestinal disorders and is a tonic to the kidneys and spleen
